we discuss mainly on the somewhat complicated theme of international relations.
Understand a problem from different perspectives
In recent years, the global balance of power has been shifting.
Conflicts are breaking out in many parts of the world, and it has become increasingly difficult to predict what the future may hold.
By exploring a wide range of issues - such as war, the environment, resources, nuclear weapons,
the economy, declining birthrates, social media, our relationship with AI, and gender
- we would like to think together about how Japan, and we as Japanese people, should respond to these changes and position ourselves in the world going forward.
When we rely on information from only a limited number of media sources, our thinking can easily be influenced by those particular perspectives.
By referring to diverse materials, examining historical contexts, and learning from different viewpoints,
we aim to share and discuss our own opinions. Differences of opinion are not only expected, but welcomed.
By listening to a wide range of perspectives, new insights often emerge.
Even when a topic feels challenging, simply listening to those with deeper expertise can be highly educational.
Each session is conducted in a friendly and open atmosphere.
