Q1What should I bring my belongings on the first join ?
A1Since there is no special necessity at the time of the initial participation, please bring something to use by yourself, such as writing instruments, dictionaries. (You will get a copy of the teaching material text, which you can show to members when you first join.)
Q2I do not know whether I can participate every week, but is it OK ?
A2It is OK. Circles themselves are basically held every week, but there are people who are involved almost every time, others are irregular. Depending on your circumstances, it is OK to choose whether to participate in each week.
Q3Is participation with tour only OK?
A3We are sorry, we can not accept participation of tour only. Even if you say "I want to see the atmosphere of a circle for a while", please note that it will take a part of a 2 hour English conversation in one of the groups.
Q4Where should I go to the venue?
A4Please check at the "activity schedule (venue)" in the lower menu of this page for each venue. In our circle, all the participants gather in a single venue, divided into groups and conduct English conversation.
Q5Does BBI have a foreign teacher of a native English speaker ?
A5In our circle, there is basically no native person who teaches English as a teacher.
Q6Is it okay if I take my family and friends ?
A6 Although it is OK, since there is convenience for the venue size, We would be pleased if you can contact us in advance if you are with other people as to how many people will be taken.
Q7Please tell us the number of BBI participants, age groups, and male-female ratio.
A7There is no accurate data, but as for the circle as a whole, the average number of participants is about 40 people each time, the age group is 30 to 50 generations, the impression that the ratio of men and women is about 6: 4. (It also depends on the situation and group of participants in each week)
Q8What kind of organizations are managed by BBI venue reservations and various events ?
A8BBI has established a management organization (name: "Committee Meeting", commonly known as "Komi-kai") composed of leaders of each group, secretaries and staff of various events, venue reservation, accounting personnel and so on. Normally, we hold a meeting once every two months and discuss and decide matters concerning the operation of BBI. Things that have been decided are communicated to everyone through group leaders. From time to time, BBI invites participants to participate actively in the "Komi-kai".
