◆ Money & Body (M&B)  ◆

Our group utilizes the Immersion Program, which originated in Canada, to explore two themes-Money and Body-on alternating weeks, using English as the medium of communication.

◆ Level of English     Anyone who is interested in Business English can participate, as the level of English does not matter.

◆ Features   Our group utilizes the Immersion Method, which originated in Canada, to explore two themes-Money and Body-on alternating weeks, using English as the medium of communication. Money Week = 2nd, 4th & 5th week   We develop both financial literacy and English communication skills related to money, an essential aspect of our daily lives. In Japan, financial literacy education was introduced in junior high schools, and in April 2022, financial education became a mandatory subject in high schools. In M&B, we look into financial concepts and systems in English, enhancing our practical expression skills. Body Week = 1st & 3th week   We aim to learn about body functions and mechanisms in English and express ourselves freely on these topics. The goal is to acquire essential English vocabulary related to the body and be able to discuss health and body-related concerns in English.

◆ Textbooks  We use books from the same series:   ・Money Week -- "How Money Works"   ・Body Week --- "How The Body Works"  Both are richly illustrated in full color, making them visually engaging and easy to understand. They are available on Amazon for approximately 1,000 yen to 4,000 yen (hardcover or Kindle edition).
